VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Our sheltered workshop services provide service recipients with opportunities to develop good work habits and learn marketable skills such as effective communication, team work, following instructions, accepting correction, as well as various job skills obtained from real work experiences provided thru partnerships between Options Inc. and industry. Options, Inc. works with businesses to identify work that can be outsourced in a manner that would be beneficial to all. The end result is that businesses benefit and the people served by Options Inc. benefit by learning job skills, earning wages, expanding social connections, and gaining self-esteem. The jobs are meaningful for these people. They value their role in the labor force and take pride in the fact that they are contributing to their community and earning wages. They demonstrate this pride with smiles.
